I don’t know if this is the best day of the year for you but it is for me.
It’s the one day of the year when people go out of their way to be nice to each other. Not just in the legal profession but out in the streets and everywhere else.
At least thats the way it seems to me.
So much of the year we’re fighting with each other about everything. Politics, religion, government etc. The list goes on and on.
But not on Christmas!
I find people are a bit more willing to listen to each other around this time year.
There is something natural about taking a break and celebrating this special day.
Professionally what do I have to be thankful for?
The list is endless. I can start with being thankful for being a lawyer.
I love being a lawyer.
I know that sounds corny but it’s true.
If I wasn’t a lawyer I don’t know what I would do.
I’m not good with my hands, I hate being in the cold and I’m deathly afraid of heights.
But I do like the joy and feeling of believing that I’m doing something good to help somebody else.
In my profession, that means getting you the most $$ I possibly can in your injury case.
In personal injury cases that also means feeling for you and what you’re going through with your injuries.
I wish I could tell you that every case we do results in an absolutely fabulous $ recovery for the victims.
That’s not true and any attorney that tells you that is a liar.
BUT, we know that you our clients are counting on us.
