GIVING THANKS part2

I want to continue my list of things Pittsburgh Wrongful Death, car accident and slip and fall attorney Bernie Tully has to be thankful for. Please bear with me because it helps an old school Pittsburgh injury lawyer keep focused!

I am also extremely thankful to my children from Beth our oldest daughter who is happily married and living in Iowa with 3 children. To Kevin, my oldest son, who is recently married to a wonderful wife Brandy. To my twins Michael and Jessica who are currently in law school. To my youngest daughter Katie who is graduating from college in a few  months. I couldn’t  image my life without them to keep me going. They really are what drives me.

I am also thankful for my brother Jim and my nephews and nieces. They are all part of our extended family  and they help keep us going also.

I am most thankful for living in the United States, and in particular Pittsburgh. Every morning when I drive in and see the Pittsburgh skyline downtown, I feel so happy. What could  you want more than that? So many things I take for granted like driving a car that is safe and getting into work everyday on highways without potholes are just a blessing. It really is hard to beat when you have all this going for you.

Lastly, I want to thank you the readers of this Blog  for taking the time to read my almost daily rants about the law in general and personal injury and criminal law in particular. You know the only way that there are changes in  personal injury and criminal law is when enough people care to want to change things. One example should suffice. Did you know that if you have  $15,000 in  auto insurance coverage on your car, that you are perfectly legal to drive in Pennsylvania. That means that if you hit someone or are hit by someone in a car accident that it is very likely, no matter how badly you are injured, that you will only receive that $15,000 amount. What that also means is that if you suffer very serious injuries from the car collision which may include multiple surgeries, that the $15,000 amount is what you are going to receive. It is crazy and the law needs to change in that regard.  So I am thankful that I live in a country where people can change bad laws like this.

In closing, I hope everybody enjoys the Thanksgiving weekend and that you do your best to take a few moments and reflect on what you really have to be thankful for. I am sure you will come up with a whole list of things to be thankful for if you take the time.

Thanks for reading and following my Blogs.

Try to do your best to be kind to others during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

Go Steelers and go Penguins!
