Beware of TV Injury Lawyers! Here’s Why…

Why should you be wary of personal injury attorneys that advertise on TV and claim they will be able to help you if you were unfortunately injured in a motor vehicle collision? You should be careful for the following reason: they only want the biggest cases.

In the past, a client said that she was involved in a minor collision and sustained soft tissue injuries. This woman called several firms, including the ones that are advertised on television and radio, to see who could best help her. She called the TV injury lawyers and told their staff about her accident and subsequent injuries. Of course, the TV attorney’s staff had a couple of questions.

The 1st question they asked the woman was “Were you life-flighted from the accident?” Why would they ask that question? Because that means there are big, big injuries if you had to be life-flighted from the scene.

The 2nd question they asked her was “Did you have surgery? How many surgeries?” In this woman’s case, she thankfully did not require surgery.

The final question they asked was, “Were you taken by ambulance from the scene?”  No, she wasn’t.

30-seconds go by and the secretary comes back on the phone and tells her they’re sorry but they can’t help her. The client didn’t even get the chance to talk to an attorney at the firm they called. Why not? Because your case is not “big” enough, this woman was told.

With these TV injury lawyers, that is the reality you are dealing with. Unless you have a catastrophic injury, that is the kind of treatment you are going to get. I’m not talking hypothetically either, this is what our clients have shared with us.

Our main focus is honesty. We always preach it. We are passionate about trying to help you! Questions about the blog? CALL US!
