Today’s blog is about our policy, Tully 30 Day Rule, that we have developed in our office to try to help our injury clients. It is a 30 day approach on getting you an offer! This means that when we send the medical records over to the insurance company we usually say you have a certain period of time to respond to us. Then almost always they say, “Well, we want more time. We want the records from every day that your client was born up until the present time.”

There is a debate as to how much time to give the insurance company to make an offer. We know clients get frustrated and deservedly so because the insurance company is playing this delay game. They delay so they can keep the money when it should be going to you as the victim of an injury.

Tully 30 Day Rule

So we started a new policy that is called the Tully 30 day rule. If the client allows it, we give a strict 30 day approach to the insurance company to respond to our demand. If they do not respond within that 30 days, we file the lawsuit within a couple days of that. Once the client gives us that okay, the lawsuit will be filed for them.

We find our rule forces the insurance companies to take your case much more seriously. They know that we have followed up on it just like we said we would do by filing suit. It is our way of trying to increase the value of your case and to get you a higher settlement in a faster way.

Our main focus is honesty. We always preach it. We are passionate about trying to help any injured person or family member with their case. Questions about the blog? CALL US!
