WHAT IS NEW AT THE TULLY AND TULLY LAW FIRM: We are representing the estate of a man tragically killed in a factory gas explosion. Evidence indicates the Defendants knew of the explosion chances but failed to take immediate action to fix the problem. Just so terribly sad. Our law firm handles any type of explosion, electrocution, burn, scarring or fatal fall or institutional sexual abuse case.

3 THINGS TO NEVER DO READERS:
1) Tug on Superman’s cape.
2) Pull the mask off the Lone Ranger.
3) Lie in a jury trial. Here is a reason why from an actual trial:
Podiatrist forced to agree to $1 million med mal settlement after Plaintiffs catch the doctor lying about his credentials. The good doctor wanted to impress the jury by lying about his educational credentials NEVER thinking he would get caught. WRONGO! As a result the case settled for $1 million!
The best advice for you if we have filed a lawsuit in your behalf is 1)Do not exaggerate your injuries. 2)Tell the truth even if it hurts your case.

LEGAL EAGLES: DID YOU KNOW DEPARTMENT: When a jury verdict is appealed no live witnesses are called and there is not a second trial of the case. Instead, the Appeals Court decision is based 100% on the record of the trial testimony. That is why court reporters are so valuable to our system.

LEARNING THE LAW, PART 2: A recent Court ruling declared that your 2nd Amendment Right To Bear Arms is universal to all Americans and extends also to those who are age 18-20 years old!

CLIENT OF THE MONTH: Michael and I recently met a client of ours Charles G. after we settled his car accident case. Charles came in to pick up his check. Charles is a Disabled American Veteran who served our country honorably by working as a government recruiter for Air Force pilots. He told us remarkable stories of his time in the Air Force. Thank you Charles and all veterans who help keep us safe.

CAN YOU GUESS THE COURTS RULING: Can police search the backpack of a conscious but unresponsive man who would not give his name or identification and had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation? YES a search incident to a lawful arrest is authorized under the PA Constitution. So no search warrant needed.

CONSUMER HELP: Maybe don’t rush to buy that electric car quite yet. Why? Because, electric vehicles have proven to be far less reliable, on average, than gasoline powered cars, trucks and SUVs according to the latest study by Consumer Reports. The study found that EVs from the 2021 through 2023 model years encounter nearly 80% more problems than combustion engine vehicles. Consumer Reports, said EV owners most frequently reported troubles with battery and charging systems as well as flaws in how the vehicles body panels and interior parts fit together.

PITTSBURGH’S GREATEST UNSOLVED MYSTERY: On January 31, 1956 a TB-25N (commonly known as a B-25 bomber) ditched in the Monongahela River approximately 6 miles upriver from the Point in the City of Pittsburgh. The air temperature was 27 degrees and the water was 34 degrees. All 6 crew members survived the impact into the river, but tragically 2 men died as they attempted to swim to shore. For the next two weeks there was a search for this aircraft with no success.
To date it has never been found. For more information concerning Pittsburgh’s Greatest Unsolved Mystery, email the B-25 Recovery Group LLC at B25LindaRoss@gmail.com. Bob Sherma a lifelong friend and Newsletter reader of ours, has devoted countless hours and years trying to solve this mystery. Just so proud of you Bob!

PITTSBURGH PROUD: Heinz History Center is No. 1 history museum in America according to a recent study.

CONGRATULATIONS TO: Christine C. who won last month’s $50.00 prize. Now for your chance to win: April Showers bring ……. what? Good luck

GO PIRATES: The Bucs have so many young quality baseball prospects that I am optimistic about this year. How about you?

PENGUINS: What did you think of the Pens honoring Jaromir Jagr? I think it was well earned! BRAVO PENGUINS!

Your friends and attorneys,
Bernard M. Tully and Michael J. Tully

Happy Spring!
