Waterford, PA (July 18, 2025) – The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in the borough on Friday evening, July 18.
The 33-year-old male victim, of Waterford, was pronounced dead at the scene not long before midnight following the accident on Route 19 southbound, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook. Authorities said they believe the man was struck by a vehicle that then fled the area. In the meantime, the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and witnesses were asked to come forward.
