Sugarloaf Township, PA (July 27, 2025) – All lanes were closed after a fatal crash in Luzerne County on Saturday afternoon, July 26.
The Luzerne County coroner says they were called to a two-car crash that left one person dead along Route 93 in Sugarloaf Township on Saturday afternoon. According to 511PA, all lanes on a portion of Route 93 were closed due to the crash, but have since reopened.
It’s unclear if anybody else was hurt, but officers and EMTs closed the area to respond. That said, the investigation into the incident remains ongoing, and witnesses were asked to step forward.
