Philadelphia, PA (August 1, 2025) – A man has died after he was struck by a vehicle in Philadelphia’s Kensington section Friday morning, August 1.
It happened around 4:50 a.m. in the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue. Police say a blue Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Frankford Avenue when the man was struck. The unidentified man, believed to be in his 40s, was transported to the hospital but died from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved did stay at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No additional information regarding the victim’s identity has been released at this time, however.
