Luzerne County, PA (August 31, 2025) – A crash in Luzerne County killed at least one person on Sunday morning, August 31.
One person, who was not identified, died after a crash near Lattimer Road and Quality Road in Hazle Township on Sunday morning, according to the Luzerne County Coroner. Pennsylvania State Police troopers added that EMTs also responded to the site, but the number of people injured is unknown, and the investigation into the incident is still ongoing. That said, no further details were released, and witnesses were asked to step forward.
