Why Disability Cases Are Different?

According to Disability Benefits Help, “A disability claim is a request for income assistance filed with the Social Security Administration. A claim is filed when a person believes that a mental or physical disability leads to his/her inability to lead a normal life or find a job.” Whether it’s a Social Security claim, or any other disability claim, I am here to talk to you about why disability cases are different.

The main reason why disability cases are different is there are certain caps that you’re restricted to, in terms of how much money you may receive. It’s sort of a different animal than a personal injury case where someone is involved in an accident, they have sustained injuries that have caused their pain and suffering, and that they’re suing for a certain amount of money to compensate them for what they have gone through.

It’s a real important to talk to an attorney that does Social Security or disability cases to know what your rights are and how to protect those rights. We’re here to help! We aren’t trying to sell you something. The Tully Firm is trustworthy and we have been doing injury cases for almost 40 years. We will give you an honest assessment as to how we can help you and then you can decide for yourself if it makes sense to move forward.

Our main focus is honesty. We always preach it. We are passionate about trying to help any injured person or family member with their case. Questions about the blog? CALL US!
