Franklin Township, PA (April 21, 2025) – A woman was pinned underneath a vehicle after a 16-year-old crashed into her Adams County home over the weekend, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said the crash occurred on Saturday, April 19, just before 3:50 p.m. at a residence at the 1980 block of Chambersburg Road (Route 30) in Franklin Township. The driver was identified as a 16-year-old male from Adams County, according to the police report.
The crash caused a woman inside the home to be pinned beneath the vehicle, according to the police report. Crews at the scene had to use mechanical lifting equipment to remove the woman. Police said she was airlifted by Medevac to York Hospital for her injuries; however, the severity of her injuries is unknown.
The teen suffered minor injuries from the crash and refused EMS transport at the scene. State police wrote that he was cited for the crash. In the meantime, the investigation into the incident remains ongoing, and witnesses were asked to step forward.
